AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Keeping the vote counting in front, EC has declared regarding VVPAT counting issues that the RO will decide whether VVPAT will be counted or not.
"Anybody can demand for VVPAT counting, but it will be fully decided by the RO. Whether the demand is valid or not, it will also be decided by the RO", an election commission official said.
However the ruling CPI-M appealing the counting agents said, "Along with being courageous, be also responsible. There should not be any indisciplinary activity. We may lose in any constituency but it doesn't mean you will forget your responsibilities. Also don't care about other constituencies and do your own duty".
On the other side, BJP also has warned its all activists to avoid all unnecessary issues and outside the counting halls as well all kinds of violence should be avoided and if anybody is found in violence then strict actions to be taken against that person.
