UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): Left ruled state Tripura is consistently topping in blood donation campaigning amid lack of blood banks availability.
But due to election season, political parties stopped blood donation campaigning since almost a month, which has caused serious crisis of blood in blood banks.
Today with the initiative of BJP at Udaipur a blood donation camp was conducted.
While addressing at Sonamura area in Udaipur, BJP MLA Pranajit Singha Roy said, "The whole state is suffering from blood-crisis and almost all blood banks have left empty due to lack of blood banks. Patient parties sufferings have been reported to us".
"In this condition BJP will come forward in all districts so that a minimum help we can provide to our people", he added.
Tripura in 2016 total 854 blood donation camps had conducted.
