DHANPUR / AGARTALA / TELIAMURA, Feb 26 (TIWN): Rivals CPI-M and BJP across polling stations under 6 constituencies of Tripura were seen sitting and standing together, after they came face to face during re-polling hours. Both CPI-M candidate Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, BJP candidate Pratima Bhowmik have also been standing together in front of polling station at Dhanpur 23. The crucial re-poll has been kept under 100 % webcasting with above 50 % voting completed within 2 PM. A tight security blanket at 23-Dhanpur polling station has been provided under Indo-Tibet Police personnel since 7 AM. The tight security was expected as choosing Indo-Tibet Police for the particular constituency was aimed for heavy security.Dhanpur is Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's constituency, whereas from BJP Pratima Bhowmik is battling the election.

At Dhanpur 282 voters have cast votes among 1089 voters, 10 AM’s report said and at 2 PM above 50% vote was done.

At Teliamura also two rivals were seen together sitting in the courtyard. From Teliamura BJP canidate is Kalyani Roy and Gauri Das is CPI-M's candidate. 

 Tripura's re-polls across 6 polling stations have been started already since 7 AM. As the Election Commission is making the voting this time as 100% transparent so the re-polling has been announced for Tripura including Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's Dhanpur constituency.

The 6 polling centres where the election is going on, EC has kept strict observations. The 6 poll-stations are : 22-Sonamura, 23-Dhanpur, 28-Teliamura, 40-Sabroom,41-Ampinagar, 54-Kadamtala-Kurti, where the election commission has ordered re-polling.
