AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): A rumour has gripped the public since morning that Tripura Minister, veteran CPI-M leader Khagendra Jamatia has passed away at Delhi AIIMS hospital at 9 AM today, which is actually a false propaganda, MLA Pabitra Kar has confirmed.

Minister Khagenra Jamatia was suffering from serious disease since few days, but even after admitting him in the first referral hospital of Tripura GB hospital, the doctors failed to recover him and thus finally Jamatia was referred to Delhi AIIMS hospital on Feb 22, but his health is now in better condition.

Pabitra Kar said that a false news has been spread since morning which has created the whole confusion. 

Khagendra Jamtia has also been candidate in the last Assembly poll held on February 18 from Krishnapur constituency.
