AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): The Central Govt is pushing for Northeast power connectivity's upgradation along with continuing funding for new projects.

Boosting the Central Govt with party tags, state BJP has claimed  about the following ongoing upgradation of Northeast zone under power connectivity.

1. Rs. 9856 crores were sanctioned for Northeast power connectivity expansion in 2014,

2. 16 projects are undergoing,

3. 694 MW producing machine was set,

4. 2540 KM connectivity lines were set across Northeast.
