AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has termed the Union budgets under BJP Govt as Anti-Poor.
“All the budgets made by the BJP govt were anti-poor, casued heavy losses to the farmers and poor men. Congress Govt was also same and as a result people are wanting an alternative party except Congress, BJP. BJP even worse than Congress”, said Manik Sarkar.
"All the promises have been made in the budget are bogus, typically meant to help the riches", he said.
'India has seen that changing the Neta, nothing happens as both Congress and BJP are two faces of a same coin. Our (CPI-M) ideology is not like them , but we work for the equality and equal development", said Sarkar.
"BJP is ruling in one way targeting the Dalits, minority, tribals. But Tripura has emerged as the unique example of peace & harmony and thus they are trying to hit the CPI-M Govt here", said Sarkar.
