AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): One BLO (Booth Level Officer) Anjan Saha was came under mass agitation at Bishalgarh with the allegation of irregularities in voter slip distribution and later booked by police.

Later, police recovered the BLO from the public and saved him from mass beating.

The incident took place on Tuesday at 11 Am, in Bishalgarh-16 area of booth number 29.

BJP has alleged that BLO Anjan Saha has been involved in irregularities with the voter slip distribution.

According to BJP without keeping all political parties combined he was distributing voter slips as per wish and was accompanied by only CPI-M cadres.

Apart from that he also gave fake signatures in many slips.

With all these, BJP activists nabbed him and later police took him with them.
