AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): One BJP leader was beaten by security forces at Matabari, Udaipur, which has led mass resentments among BJP activists.

On yesterday night miscreants had set fired in his house, but when he complained about the matter to the forces, alleging CPI-M has done it, one police official told the forces that he is a culprit.

Then the security forces also beat him with sticks and left with injuries.

Local BJP activists came in massive protest whereas CPI-M has also held a protest rally alleging BJP is trying to create conflict.
