AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): On the eve of Assembly Election, much awaited BJP's Election Manifesto named 'Vision Document' was released today by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at Agartala at 1 PM. BJP State President Biplab Deb however was not present in the inauguration programme of the Vision Document. While releasing the Vision Document, Jaitley told media, "Northeast has been a very important part for Indian Politics but BJP's supports from public was very minimum at the beginning. In Tripura due to Left's Governance without any developmental vision has fueled heavy resentments among the common people and BJP has entered that space with developmental attitudes".
"Tripura became full-fledged state under the Govt of India before 45 years but the profit of being full-fledged state, the people never got under the CPI-M Govt and two time's Congress led Govt. As a result an anti-left brigade was formed slowly and BJP has occupied the space", said Jaitley.
"The one-way politics of Left since 25 years have generated 'hatred' among the mass and the same was done at West Bengal resulting frustration among the people and as a result Communists are unable to come in No-2 position also", added Jaitley.
"Politics is like nature. The way it will work, the public reaction will be same and BJP is rooted with developmental agendas", he told media.
Referring BJP's Vision Documents, Jaitley said, "Whereas Tripura is lagging behind due to the Left Govt, BJP will do proper implementation of Right-to-Food, Education will meet with quality, human capital will be developed, health service will be upgraded, drinking water to reach house to house, 7th pay commission's implementation and the unemployed youths rights to be preserved through Transparency of Employment etc".
