AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Without mentioning name, a newly joined CPI-M member from Congress party Loknath Bardhan has brought serious allegation against a BJP candidate who was once an Ex-Minister, indirectly targeting MLA Sudip Roy Barman (son of Ex-CM Samir Barman) as he is the only BJP candidate who was a Minister for once in Congress era.

Addressing media, Bardhan said, “The leader who with burning cigarette wrote his own name in another youth’s hand during ragging, will not he do violence in the coming days ?"

“BJP has a leader who during his Ministry time was such a womanizer that if a woman was seen coming from his quarter, people questioned on the character of the woman”, said Bardhan.

Later CPI-M MLA Pabitra Kar stopped Bardhan from making the issue lengthy during the press conference. 

However, Bardhan further said, “When BJP is giving such candidates, I don’t trust that people will vote for BJP. Such candidates will be mass rejected”.
