AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Before PM Modi’s arrival, CPI-M has asked him to clarify BJP Assam local leader J D Kiran’s anti-Muslim statement, who recently said that after NRC draft is passed, all the Muslims to be returned back to from Assam or they will be mass killed. CPI-M in a press release said, “BJP leader J D Kiran said if Muslims do not leave Assam, then they will be mass killed . Another leader of BJP Binay Katiyar said Muslims must go back to Bangladesh and Pakistan. Thus, we hope that PM Modi in his Sonamura and Kailashahar visits will clarify the issues as both areas are Muslim populatedâ€. The CPI-M has also brought another allegation which is against BJP state president Biplab Deb for saying all votes will on February 18, will either go to Biplab Deb or Narendra Modi.
However, amid all these allegations of CPI-M, BJP is full ready to welcome PM Modiin two separate rallies. One at Sonamura and another at Kailashahar
Security has been tightened across Sonamura and Kailashahar ahead of Modi’s arrival. BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar, Sonamura constituency’s BJP candidate Subal Bhowmik are on the spot, instructing the state decoration since the morning today. The selection of Sonamura as the location for PM Modi’s rally, which is the heart of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s Dhanpur constituency and also the constituencies of Minister Sahid Chowdhury, MLA Shyamal Chakraborty has turned a big blow for CPI-M.
On the other side, Kailashahar is the constituency of Congress MLA Birjit Sinha.
