AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Finally, much awaited BJP and IPFT’s joint statement was released today by Assam Minister cum Tripura BJP In-Charge Himanta Biswa Sarma today. The photocopies of the joint statement were also released in a press conference at Krishnanagar BJP Headquarter. When anti—BJP parties had been targeting the party’s Central leaders for being involved in Tripura-division's intrigue and majority Bengalis were also undergoing tensions for being outcast from the ADC areas under BJP and IPFT's alliance, today in the joint statement where IPFT Chief NC Debbarma also had put his signature, it’s written that the poll-alliance among BJP and IPFT are totally based on to develop the ADC area with socio-economic prosperity in fully democratic manner.
While addressing the media, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “In the joint statement we have said that IPFT and BJP are aligning for 2018’s election as a part of anti-Communist poll strategy as the Communists have ruined the state with its anti-poor policy”.
“It’s the policy of the Communists to keep a larger section of people as poor and tribals are also parts of Communists anti-development strategy's victim. Triabls across ADC have become the victims of the misruling of Tripura’s Communist Govt. Thus, to release the indigenous people from poverty, deprivation, BJP has aligned with IPFT”.
“In order to outcast anti-developmental Communist govt here, BJP and IPFT have joined in also a meeting under the Home Ministry and a high level committee was formed for the socio-economical growth of tribal people. Time to time there will be reports on this, which will be submitted to the committee”, Sarma said.
“BJP has also formed a roadmap to develop the ADC and to make TTADC free from deprivation and corruption. Both parties will reaffirm that they will jointly work in democratic manner by maintaining peace and harmony of the state”, added Sarma.
