AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Rupa Ganguli in her one day visit in Tripura campaigned for BJP in various constituencies. While addressing at Bishalgarh, the BJP leader has hit the CPI-M Govt for various scams alleged against the Govt in its 25 years of regime. Praising the Modi Govt’s attempts for poor people’s health care, Ganguli said, “In Govt hospitals the health care services have remained pathetic since the 70 years of independence. When in private hospitals people visit, before the treatment they have to pay the money. But the Modi Govt has announced Rs. 5 lakhs of health insurances for 10 crores familiesâ€, which itself is a historical decision. Hitting the CPI-M Govt for negligence of Health Service, she said, “Central Govt allocates funds but the quality of the project work fully depends upon the state Govt. Centre allocates fund and handover it to Tripura Govt and what kind of work will be done, it’s to be decided by the Tripura Govt. Central Govt sends funds in all states but Tripura produces scams out of the fundsâ€.
“Cores of funds come in states. That much of funds which even we can’t count or imagine but instead of development the state Tripura is producing corruption stories. How much can be taken, who will take what amount from those Central Funds........ all are busy with such activities”, said Ganguli.
BJP’ Bishalgarh candidate Nitai Chowdhury, leader Anjan Puro kayasto also accompanied Rupa Ganguli during the rally at Bishalgarh New Market.
Rupa Ganguly on Tuesday arrived in Tripura in morning flight for one day visit. BJP’s women-wing ‘Mohila Morcha’ members have received her from Agartala Airport. Her main campaigning programmes were at Kamalasagar and Bishalgarh where she has joined BJP’s Vijay-Rath-Ratya.
In BJP’s star campaigning, before Rupa Ganguli already Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani completed their visits. Next visit will be paid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will address at Sonamura.
