PM Modi to address BJP rally on Thursday in Tripura : Preparation on Peak : Jolt for Manik Sarkar as rally to be conducted in Sonamura

AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): With a major jolt for CPI-M topmost leaders including the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, PM Modi’s rally to be conducted in Sonamura on Thursday, the heart of Manik Sarkar’s Dhanpur constituency and also the constituencies of Minister Sahid Chowdhury, MLA Shyamal Chakraborty. This rally may work as a major blow to CPI-M as already in Sonamura across 3 constituencies BJP’s strength has become a major threat to CPI-M, including Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s Dhanpur constituency. But earlier, Tripura BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar said that PM Modi will visit two times in Tripura, ahead of Tripura Election and there will be at least 3 rallies of PM Modi, but on February 8 only one rally to be conducted which will be at Sonamura. Santirbazar rally has been cancelled, a source said. Sonamura College ground has been selected as the primary location for PM Modi’s rally.Sonamura is the constituency of MLA Shyamal Chakraborty and BJP’s topmost leader Subal Bhwomik is fighting this time from the constituency.

Preparations have started in full wave by the BJP activists regarding PM Modi’s arrival. Already flags, banners, festoons have been gathered and placing for decoration.

BJP’s star campaigning is however has begun in full wave since January 4th.

Already Rajnath Singh has completed his two day long Tripura visit, whereas Smriti Irani also campaigned for a day here and today Rupa Ganguli is addressing 3 rallies.

However, presently 3 Northeastern states are undergoing poll sessions and Tripura is the first state to conduct the election. Tripura’s election is on February 18. Once Tripura’s election is completed then BJP’s star campaigning will be started in rest two Northeastern states Meghalaya and Nagaland.

The results of the states' polls to be held on March 3.
