AGARTALA / KAILASHAHAR, Feb 6 (TIWN): With sinking condition of Congress party in Tripura, PCC Chief Birjit Sinha said that Congress party will perform well in the upcoming election of February 18. “Don’t’ think Congress’s condition is much bad. We day night are holding meetings and rallies. Our campaigns are going on in full wave”, Birjit Sinha told TIWN from Kailashahar. However, Congress would not let the Kailashahar constituency so easily from Sinha’s hand according to secret sources Congress is trying hard to save at least 2 seats for the party : Kailshahar and Banamalipur. Nitish Dey is fighting the Birjit Sinha's Kailashahar constituency from BJP, whereas from CPI-M Mabaswar Ali (earlier defeated) is battling the election from there. Sinha further said, “BJP has bought leaders from Congress , whereas all stars are coming from outside. Not a single leader BJP could represent from its own state or root. However, let’s see how far BJP goes and defeat the left”.

Tripura Congress Chief has also brought a serious allegation against Ex-Congress Chief Minister Samir Barman, who have walked with BJP candidate of Bishagarh Nitai Chowdhury after withdrawing nomination papers.

Sinha said, "Barman is simply doing everything for money. From nomination papers' submission to withdrawal all activities were money-centric".
