AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): IPFT and BJP even though didn’t release their joint statement yet clarifying their stands on separate state, but their joint campaigning are going on in full wave across ADC areas. Earlier, Himanta Biswa Sarma asked media to wait for criticism till the joint statement of BJP and IPFT comes out, but after one month of the parties alliance also the joint statement has not been published. In this regard, CPI-M National leader Birnda Karat has slammed the BJP today saying that there are 'unholy' tying among BJP and IPFT as 'BJP is saying one thing and IPFT is saying another thing'. "When IPFT leaders are saying that 50 % of their Tipraland demand was agreed by the Central Govt, the BJP is silent, but at the same time in Bengali zone areas they are saying something else", said Karat.Tripura Congress Chief Birjit Sinha also recently has hit the BJP alleging the party is playing double role with Tipraland issue.

"Why hasn't BJP has released the joint statement yet ? BJP must clear its stand on Tipraland. Delaying of joint statement is proving BJP's nexus with Tipraland demand", Birjit Sinha told TIWN. Congress has brought allegation against both N C Debbarma and Biplab Deb for fooling Tribal and Bengali people of the state. "

Earlier also we demanded that both of them should sit in a same dais and clear before public what was the talk held among Central Ministers and IPFT leaders, but till now leaving everyone with confusions BJP is going with nexus of Tipraland ideology", added Sinha."It has been seen that Central Ministers are saying something and after coming IPFT leaders are saying different.

So, if Tipraland issue was not raised by IPFT before Rajnath Singh and nothing has been promised about separate state by BJP, then BJP must sit with NC Debbarama before public and jointly clear their stands as it's not just about election, but lakhs of sentiments are carrying with 'divided' and 'undivided' Tripura.

Noteworthy, Biplab Deb earlier clearly said, “If NC Debbarma has said that Central Govt supported Tipraland, it’s false. With Rajnath Singh and PM Modi there was no talk about Tipraland at. It was totally based on socio-economic development"

Thus the Tipraland issue which is suffering from double standards, were many times denied by BJP, whereas IPFT leader N C Debbarma said that Rajnath Singh agreed with Tipraland and surely that's why the high powered committee was formed.

Reacting over media's interaction Himanta Biswa Sarma said that a joint statement will come soon clarifying all questions, where NC Debbarma will have to sign.

However after on January 18, Himanta Biswa Sarma said about the joint statement, till day no statement has been distributed.
