AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): CPI-M National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, who is in Tripura now, has termed the budget 2018-19 as 'Election Oriented'.
"All the promises have been made in the budget can not be fulfilled. These are not distinguished. This is a budget which is basically Election oriented"
"This is clear from the budget that the election is in the next year . The promises they have made are not subsequent as per the requirements"
"The budget doesn't appeal to raise the resources from the rich rather will collect from public through indirect taxes", said Yechury.
"But this is a big bonanza for the rich, corporate", added Yechury.
