AGRTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): After BJP's candidates' list out from New Delhi, BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik was nominated for Sonamura constituency, but even even 24 hours could pass after the candidates list out but today Subal Bhowmik has clearly said, "I am not going to stand in the Assembly Election from Sonamura constituency. I was not prepared for Sonamura". TIWN further asked Bhowmik, "If you were nominated for nearby constituencies of Sonamura, would you like it ?" In reply Bhowmik said, "Nothing is like that but Sonamura is not my choice because it's totally unexpected. However, it's not mandatory to fight in election". TIWN also asked, "But if you do not stand from any constituency will you stay in BJP ?" Bhowmik said, "I can't say anything now in this regard. My nominated seat has off my mood. I left with no mind to battle the Election anymore". From Sonamura, CPI-M's candidate is sitting MLA Shyamal Chakraborty. This is however a major damage has been done to the BJP when there only 2 , 3 weeks left ahead of Election, even though the cause of Subal Bhowmik's reaction has remained unidentified.

BJP had announced 44 candidates names for the Assembly Election via a press conference from from New Delhi on yesterday night.
