AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): Tripura BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar has greeted Tripura and other states on 69th Republic Day of India.

BJP also officially conducted a programme at BJP Office today.

"Greetings to all countrymen on the occasion of Republic Day Let's salute the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and soldiers of our country who made us realise the dream of an independent and unified India", Deodhar tweeted.

Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India.
