AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's close coterie cum Multicrore scamster Bimal's brother Amal Chakrabory assaulted a housewife while door-to-door campaigning on Thrusday. When scamster like BDO Bimal Chakraborty's brother Amal Chakraborty was nominated as CPI-M's election candidate, it was expected unruly law and order condition of Banamalipur. On the first day of Amal’s door to door campaigning, a housewife named Jaya Shil, resident of Srilanka Basti has filed an FIR against CPI-M candidate DYFI Secretary Amal Chakraborty and some more CPI-M cadres for assaulting her in front of her family members. Amal Chakraborty along with others went at Jayan Shil's home, who was earlier a CPI-M activist. Amal approached her threatening saying 'Come back to CPI-M, we will help you'.

The housewife behaved normally as common households do during candidate's poll campaigning politely denying but Amal Chakraborty  held her hand and then assaulted her before others accompanying rowdies asking housewife to 'Come Back to CPI-M'.

During the assault of housewife many CPI-M ladies were present, but all were enjoying, laughing at the distress of helpless lady. 

Housewife's  family members anyhow controlled the situation. Later, she raised complain to BJP.

In the night, BJP activists placed a deputation to the East Police station, demanding arrest of the CPI-M nominated candidate. BJP will also complain it to the Election Commission.

Question raises, is this the "Sample" of DYFI leaders ? Is this the culture CPI-M talks about ? Where are Brinda Karat and Subhasini Ali now ?

It's shocking but nothing unexpected as by selecting jailed BDO Bimal Chakraborty's brother Amal Chakraborty as CPI-M's election candidate, the party leaders have shown Melarmath's haughtiness against all allegations and scams accusations against their party.

Bimal Chakraborty's scam had downed CPI-M Govt's image in the long run who was jailed with at least Rs. 17 crores of scam at Bishalgarh RD Block and the oppositions alleged that the scam was much beyond 17 crores.

The damage which done to CPI-M through Bimal Chkarborty's scam was so high that the Govt via notification had to deny the allegation recently as Manik Sarkar and Bimal Chakraborty's closeness was exposed.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar never allowed to file a proper chargesheet on Bimal Chakraborty's Rs 17 crore MGNREGA looting so Bimal was let out of Bisalgarh Jail after 180 days.
