SONAMURA / AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): One BJP activist named Rakman Mia was arrested at Sonamura's Tarapukur border area by BSF 145 Bn today.

Rakman Mia was arrested from his own house with huge numbers of phensedyl, ganja and a pistol.

BJP in return has lodged another FIR at Sonamura police station alleging, the items which were seized by BSF were actually do not belong to him, rather CPI-M through panchayat pradhan's brother Mijanur Rahman and others have kept those items in his home on yesterday night.

"Apart from BJP/ CPI-M rivalry local people always help each other in such border cases but Rakman is not involved in any smuggling. But yesterday night, suddenly Rakman's home was knocked by  Mijanur and his friends. They kept those items on the seilling and today BSF came and raided his home", said BJP leader Dhrubalal Chowdhury. 

An FIR has been lodged by BJP at the Sonamura Police Station. Police is  investigating the case.

BJP leader Dhrubalal Chowdhury also said that this is totally a political intrigue played by the CPI-M and such attempts are taken by them everyday.

Sonamura has turned narcotic den under Manik Sarkar, Sahid Chowdhury's regime of 25 years but question raises why ahead of election they are picking BJP candidates for arrests ?
