AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): The chances of alliance with INPT has been doomed as BJP leaders here said today that BJP and IPFT will fight against CPI-M jointly at 51 : 9 seat-sharing out of total 60 seats.

Later, answering media question, BJP Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that till 27 any party can talk but most likely they will have to fight from BJP's code.

Today BJP also announced the seat sharing with IPFT. Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "BJP and IPFT will only talk on socio-economic-cultural-educational development" issue only.

Total 9 seats IPFT has taken in alliance with BJP as part of Anti-Left vote banks. The seats are : 1) Simna, 2) Mandai, 3) Takarjala, 4) Ampi Nagar, 5) Manu (South), 6) Raima Valley, 7) Ramchandraghat, 8) Asharam Bari, 9) Kanchanpur.

But even though INPT was  a NEDA member, but following seat debacles, the BJP/ INPT's alliance was cancelled at last.  Moreover, IPFT's name has been entered under NEDA members.
