AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Whether wins or not, but getting North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) membership is like Election bonanza offer for Tripura's separatists party IPFT led by NC Debbarma.
Earlier, INPT as the NEDA member only from Tripura, but now INPT's alliance is almost cancelled, which has however not affected the NEDA membership of the party, but IPFT has taken an entrance into NEDA.
Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced this today.
The North-East Democratic Alliance or NEDA is a political coalition that was formed on May 24, 2016 by BJP along with regional political parties like Naga People's Front, Sikkim Democratic Front, People's Party of Arunachal, Asom Gana Parishad and Bodoland People's Front in Northeast India.
The Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura was a tribal-based party in Tripura that was a member of the North-East Regional Political Front, a group of political parties of the northeast that have supported the National Democratic Alliance, is born with demand of "Division of Tripura".
