AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): In a pre-election propaganda, targeting terrorist fearing masses, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar announced a data which has triggered tension once again. On Wednesday, Manik Sarkar boldly claimed, "How many NLFT activists are existing in Bangladesh, we know. Some of them are now married and having children. They have taken shelter in rents here and there but they are also directly connected to terrorism". After CM stressed upon such a sensitive issue, question raises, why knowing fully well that NLFT terrorists exist actively, the CM is not taking any initiative to inform the matter to Central Govt. Is this election euphoria that’s triggering all these propaganda ? Manik Sarkar is blaming NLFT but avoiding naming ATTF, which is a creation of CPI-M to generate fear among majority population.

Tripura CM did nothing in past 5 years to eradicate terrorists living openly in State capital Agartala but raising these issues in election campaigns.

Manik Sarkar however, in own support said, "If sitting in Tripura, we know about all these, why the Central Govt can't, who are at power ?"

Addressing a rally at Jirania, Sarkar said, "NLFT is residing at Bangladesh. In a huge number they are. How many of them are residing in camps and how many are not residing in camps after marriage we know it very well", added Sarkar.

"IPFT and NLFT have full connections. NLFT also has announced to support IPFT in the election and BJP now is aligning with them. Prime Minister is meeting those leaders", said Sarkar.

"Left Govt is assuring the public about an undivided Tripura at any cost. If need repart them from constituencies", Sarkar added.

'BJP earlier in various means tried to gain vote banks but failed totally and then it took  the shelter of IPFT like parties who have called for Independent Tripura', said Sarkar.

However, referring the 10 day long road blockade, where CM's failure as the Home Minister was proven and referring BJP's gherao of CM's residence, Manik Sarkar told the mass, "If they block the Home Minister, how the problem can be sorted out ? They blocked the elected Chief Minister so that the road blockade can be continuing and Chief Minister can't move".

Sarkar was addressing in a rally at Jirania where a massive rally was conducted by the left party.
