AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): 3 day long CPI-M's State Committee meeting was centered with Tripura Assembly Election, which was visible during Sitaram Yechury's press conference which took a start by mentioning about BJP's poll agenda. While addressing the press conference, Sitararam Yechury said, "To come in power, BJP is not leaving even the extremists parties too. In search of political friends BJP is aligning with IPFT which is born with the demand that Tripura should be separated from India". "Just saying Bharat Mata Ki Jay is not called patriotism, rather the unity and integrity of our nation are most important aspects. Just as Hindutva is the agenda for Hindu-Nationalism, in the same manner in Tripura they are aligning with IPFT to confirm the division of Tripura".

Earlier, IPFT threatened CPI-M about legal action against CPI-M for calling IPFT as an extremist party, but Sitaram Yechury has directly mentioned IPFT as an extremist party, which shows in which mode CPI-M will play the poll-politics in next 27 days.

"Prime Minister and the President have also promised IPFT that they will be given with a separate tribal state. So, this is the exact nature of the BJP's agenda and the IPFT-BJP's alliance is just the mirror of Hindutva like Politics", added Yechury.

"But there are other non-tribals, to whom BJP is saying something else. Thus this election will be just a Waterloo for the BJP with such politics", Yechury told media.

However, IPFT and  BJP have not given any reply to Sitaram Yechury's statement.
