Excise policy scam: Sisodia's judicial custody extended till April 17

New Delhi, April 3 : A Delhi court on Monday extended former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's judicial custody until April 17 in connection with the now-scrapped excise policy case being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had told the Delhi court on Monday that the investigation at crucial stage in excise scam corruption case.
Earlier on March 31, the Special Court denied bail plea to Manish Sisodia stating that the evidence collected so far by the CBI not only shows the applicant's active participation in the above criminal conspiracy but also shows the prima facie commission of some substantive offences of the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act by him.
