Bhubaneswar, Nov 20 (TIWN) With the improvement in Covid-19 pandemic situation, Odisha government on Saturday withdrew all Covid-19 related restrictions and penalties imposed on gatherings, wearing masks, spitting, etc in 2020.
In an official notification released on Saturday, the Information and Public Relations department said in view of substantial decline in COVID-19 cases in the state over the past several months, the government has repealed the Odisha COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 as amended from time to time with immediate effect.
In its official handle in the Twitter, the department said the COVID restrictions and penalties on gatherings, wearing masks, spitting, etc have been withdrawn.
However, it advised the people to follow COVID appropriate behavior voluntarily, as and when need arises.
