Kolkata, Aug 2 (TIWN) Partha Chatterjee, tainted in the multi-crore West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) crore scam, on Tuesday afternoon felt the heat of the public rage when a middle-aged woman hurled her slipper at him.

"I had come to throw my shoe on him. He has taken money from poor people. I would have been happier if the shoe would have hit him on his head," the woman said.

Suspended TMC leader Chatterjee's close aide Arpita Mukherjee, who is also in ED custody in connection with its probe into a school recruitment scam, said on Tuesday that crores of rupees recovered from her residences by the central probe agency were parked there in her absence and without her knowledge.
