Reportedly, the deceased Riya Das got married to Birendra Boul, resident of Teliamura Subdivision 6 months ago. On yesterday night, the housewife consumed poison after having a fight with her husband. Immediately she was taken to Teliamura Subdivisional hospital. Later, she was referred to GB hospital as her condition was deteriorating.

On Wednesday morning the housewife breathed her last at Agartala GB hospital. On receiving the news, her father rushed to the hospital. However, he didn't raise any complaints against his son-in-law yet. 

Her body has been handed over to her family after a post mortem.
