Intense rainfall to continue in NE India, Sikkim

New Delhi, Aug 13 (TIWN) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted intense spells of rain over the northeast, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh till August 15.
"Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is also likely over Assam and Meghalaya during 12th and 13th and over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 12th August," the department said in its latest weather update released today.
