AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): On Thursday CPI-M activists had gathered by maintaining Covid guidelines in Palpara area of Ghilatari to place deputation to the higher authority but before they began their programs BJP miscreants in groups held an attack brutally on them. Also abused the CPI-M activists with slang words.

The entire incident was going on in front of Police but instead of stopping the miscreants, Police allegedly harassed the CPI-M activists. Centering the attack 6 CPI-M supporters were severely injured, and among them 3 injured persons were brought to GB hospital for treatment.

CPI-M Tripura State Committee member Pabitra Kar met the injured persons at GB hospital.

Condemning the incident, Pabitra Kar Said, as BJP realized they are losing popularity, so out of fear BJP goons are creating violence in the state with support of Police administration. Kar also said BJP miscreants escaped the spot while Public were to take action.
