AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): In the absence of her husband, a housewife became a victim of violence. The incident took place in Tebaria village under Bishalgarh police station. At present, the victim’s husband Sohail Mia is working abroad. Taking leverage of the situation, her father-in-law had been assaulting her physically for money.

However, crossing the extreme limit today, the father-in-law abused her severely and left her on the roadside.

Seeing her condition, the pedestrians informed the fire service department. Later the fire service personnel took her to Bishalgarh hospital where she is undergoing treatment now.
