MIM leader in Telangana opens fire, two injured

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (TIWN) Three persons were injured when a leader of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) opened fire from his licenced revolver and also attacked them with a knife on Friday.
The incident occurred in Adilabad town, about 300 km from here. MIM Adilabad district president Mohammed Farooq Ahmed attacked rivals after a tussle between two groups playing cricket in the Tatiguda area. A video of the attack went viral on social media. Farooq, who is also former vice chairman of Adilabad municipality, is seen opening fire from his weapon while holding a knife in another hand.
