No coercive action against slum dwellers along rail tracks till final decision, SC told

New Delhi, Sep 15 (TIWN) The Centre on Monday informed the Supreme Court that for the time being there will be no removal of 48,000 slums along railway tracks in Delhi.
A bench headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde was informed by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta that a final decision would be taken in consultation with the Railways, the Delhi government and the Urban Development Ministry.
