AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): On Tuesday morning Tripura AIDS control society conducted HIV-Test among all the local drivers of GB Bazar area, at free of cost. The motto behind this step was to spread awareness among the common people regarding AIDS and also keep the society AIDS free.
The program was held by maintaining all the norms of social distancing.
One member of the AIDS control board said,"We are doing this HIV screening to check the present status of the disease. If we find any positive case among the samples we have collected today, then the person will be sent to the GB hospital for a confirmative test."
More than 40 samples have been collected today.
