AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Since inception of coalition government a role of terror prevails across the state and the BJP Government continues their post-poll violence to suppress the voices of oppositions.

The BJP under the rule of CM Biplab Deb continues perpetration of violence on their opposition CPI(M). The Communist, Congress even BJP’s ally IPFT supporters, workers, leaders are facing violence of BJP in the21 months of their rule indicating the undemocratic attitude and functioning of the ruling party. The police and administration fails to protect democratic rights of political parties and the government has utterly failed to ensure peace in the state. In the face of aggressive BJP activists, government employees and police forces are effectively reduced to “mute spectators”.

The BJP Govt is trying to establish one-party rule in the state using muscle power and taking steps to silent opposition voices.

When Tripura stands 4th in crime against women, increasing rate of violence and unnatural deaths has increased at an alarming rate in the state, the Tripura CM who claims that the state is on the right path of development, remains mum.
