AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma on Wednesday has pinched the previous Left Govt on Reang refugees' delayed repatriation.
Debbarma was asked by media at Secretariat as maximum Reang Refugees didn't go back at Mizoram.
Replying media questions, Jishnu Debbarma said, "They (Reangs) also contacted me. They have many demands, but problems will be there which need to be solved. At least the process has been started after 21 years".
A total of 131 of the 32,876 Mizo tribals on Wednesday returned to their homes in Mizoram brightening the prospect of the remaining, who have been sheltering in Tripura camps for the past 21 years.
