Mumbai, June 23 (TIWN) Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann's "Chaman Bahaar" had a digital premiere, and the filmmaker feels the OTT platforms hold the key to the future of storytelling.
"I think it is wonderful. It''s a different high when your work reaches the audiences world over. And since it''s already a time when the more local is more international, and the more personal is more universal, I am ecstatic. I think OTT platforms definitely hold the key to the future of storytelling. I want to thank Netflix for allowing me this opportunity," he told IANS.
The film is about a young ''paan'' shop owner''s bittersweet crush for a teenage girl in a smalltown setting.
Asked about the film''s title, he said: "It has a fresh vibe and sounds cool. It taps the lighthearted and breezy vibe of the film."
"Chaman Bahaar" stars Jitendra Kumar, Ritika Badiani, Bhuvan Arora and Alam Khan.
