New Delhi, Feb 19 (TIWN): Industry body Federation of Indian chambers of Commerce and Industry's women wing FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), on Friday presented awards of excellence to 25 eminent and iconic women from various walks of life for their outstanding achievements and contributions.
They include Priti Gautam Adani, Chairwoman at Adani Foundation, Nivruti Rai, Country Head at Intel, paralympian shooter Aavani Lakhera, Roshni Nadar, Chairperson at HCL, Swati Piramal, Vice chairperson at Piramal Group, Vandana Shiva for social impact - environment, Rajni Bector, Founder of Cremica Group, Sangita Reddy, Joint MD at Apollo Hospitals, singer Ananya Birla, Vinita Singhania, Vice Chairperson and MD at JK Lakshmi Cement.
The other award winners included Neeta Lulla for fashion and design- stylist, Arpita Singh for art - lifetime achievement/special mention, Nidhi Tholia for fashion and design, Rashi Narang for entrepreneur - best vertical, Vipeksha Gupta for emerging artist, Ishi Khosla for health care-wellness and nutrition, Priyanaka Chaturvedi and Bhakti Sharma for politics.
FLO awards of excellence are presented annually to distinguished women who have demonstrated their leadership through their life and work. The award categories include industry and innovation, entrepreneurship and social outreach, health, public administration and grassroots impact, start-ups, sports and arts.
The awards were presented under the categories "Outstanding Women Achievers, Young Achievers and Public Administration," FLO President Ujjwala Singhania.
"The objective of the awards is to promote the positive impact women make on society and bring greater visibility to women's achievements," she added.
