Air India CMD Bansal appointed Civil Aviation Secretary

New Delhi, Sep 23 (TIWN) Air India's Chairman and Managing Director Rajiv Bansal was on Wednesday named the new Union Civil Aviation Secretary.
Air India CMD Rajiv Bansal has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Bansal will replace the current Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola, who retires on 30 September. K Rajaraman, Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications. Rajaraman will take over the charge from Anshu Prakash who is due to superannuate on September 30.
