Police Officer died at Gomati District H | UDAIPUR, Sep 15 (TIWN): A sub-inspector named Gouranga Debbarma died at Gomati District Hospital on Friday allegedly without treatment. Family members said, they will not leave the hospital with the dead body. Gauranga Debbarma’s daughter in law who was sitting with the dead body said, since they had brought him to hospital, no treatment was given. Even though he was an emergency patient, family members were asked to stand in rows for treatment. When the patient was dying, the family members were bound to wait in the row for a ticket for treatment. The family of the patient requested the hospital staff at least to provide him some treatment as his pressure went so high but nothing was given and as soon as the saline was given, Gauranga Debbarma died. | 15-Sep-2023 |

Oppositions remain merely as ‘Prey’ | AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Amid the slow death of media in India, like many other states, in Tripura, the opposition parties remained just as the actors for democracy where fake votes, election frauds, and booth capturing are not even countered to be discussed or challenged. In the recently held by-polls in Tripura although opposition parties alleged “mass rigging” the reality is opposition since 2018 consistently failed to stop mass rigging in the state. 6 Govt Employees including a Police Offi | KAILASHAHAR, Sep 13 (TIWN): Unakoti District SP Kanta Jangir’s stern action against corruption has caused arrests of 6 Govt employees in Kailashahar. At the same time, Rs. 25 lakhs that were embezzled could be recovered. Kailashahar police after interrogating them, produced evidences before the court. It is known that after embezzling the money, they re-introduce the money into the employees’ accounts. A policeman is among the six employees who have been arrested by the police for embezzling government money.
