Over 4,000 Pharmacists Unemployed in Tri | AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Amid two times’ announcement, Tripura Govt has failed to fill up vacant posts under various Health Sectors including Pharmacists. On Sunday, in a press meet the unemployed pharmacists said that there are more than 4,000 pharmacists who are unemployed whether before 2023 election, the then Govt had announced twice about recruitment. The unemployed youths said that there are at least 519 vacant posts in this pharmacists sector and not recruiting pharmacists is a violation of the health sector. CPI-M’s Report on Kumarghat Incident A | AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): After a visit to Kumarghat, CPI-M has released its statement over the entire issue through a press conference. However, Tripura Govt yet to release its report over the incident that killed 7 people in Kumarghat on the last day of Rath due to electrocution. Former CM Manik Sarkar while addressing media said that Govt should provide Govt Jobs to each of the victim family. As per CPI-M’s statement ISKCON Rath organizers had violated the route and made the Rath’s height too much. Manik Sarkar also said, Power Dept alleged that the organizers do not like their involvement in such programs and that’s why the organizers never talk to Power Dept before such processing. NExT Exam’s Imposition : AGMC students | AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Protesting against the sudden imposition of National Exit Test for MBBS (NEXT-1) on students, the students of Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC) staged a protest on Saturday with meaningful banners saying “No” to such tests. The students have observed this Doctors’ Day as a “Black Day” for imposing such computer-based exams upon them just giving them 6 months time due to which the final year students are undergoing huge pressure. When the students were preparing for the final exams, such unexpected declarations elevated the question of whether the Education system is using students as guinea pigs or not.
