AGARTALA (Kunjaban), Oct 15 (TIWN): The Buddhist community celebrated their Kathin-Civar offering ceremony in Buddho Mandir near kunjaban area.
This was their 41st offering ceremony. The ceremony is auspicious to mean that how much you donate, but can not equal to a civar.
This ceremony marks the end of Buddhist lent and is being celebrated at Wat Tampa.
They have a rituals that during Lent monks could not travel.
The monks stayed overnight in the same temple for three months. They celebrate this ceremony to returns Buddho in Earth.
