AGARTALA, August 12 (TIWN): Student Federation of India on Tuesday celebrated the 78th Foundation Day of United Students Movement. On this occasion Flag had been hoisted at Student Youth Bhawan. State Secretary Nabarun Deb and Nilanjana Roy were present at the programme.

It is known that about past 78years United Student Movement starts based on CPIM ideology. Later on it was divided and formed the Student Federation of India (SFI). The movement starts in the year 1936. After that this day had been celebrated differently by Forward Block, and other students Federation.

This year SFI organized the programme. Flowers had been given and flag also been hoisted. State Secretary Nabarun Deb highlighted the background of this movement and other dignified guests also deliver their valuable address.
