AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Tension erupted after a prisoner's dead-body recovered at Tripura's Central Jail at Bishalgarh.

In 2004 Chikan Debbarma,  the resident of Basiram Para, under Jirania was convicted after killing his wife.

However, after life time imprisonment, Chikon Debbarma was to release from the  jail but on Wednesday his body was found hanging inside the jail at the establishment section.

IG Prisons Prabir Pal, Bishalgarh PS OC and police rushed to the spot. Police are investigating the matter, whether it's a suicidal case or murder.

A matches box and a 100 rupees note was also recovered from his pocket that created more suspicions.
