AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): ‘Human Salvation Social Organization’ organized free medical health camp at Jagannath Bari on Thursday.
The health camp started at morning and continued till 2 pm. Around 100 people came for medical checkup.
Diabetes and sugar tests were given priority in that health camp.
It is to be mentioned here that health camps are one of the strategies adopted by both government and non-government organization.
This literally means that a team of health professionals conduct a camp in an area to carry out a limited health intervention. Unfortunately government pays little attention to the quality of sterilization service and trends to focus on targets.
Free health camps are mainly organized with an aim to provide people health aid and for the people who do not have basic knowledge about health and hygiene.
However, this programme which was conducted in the target area gathered huge crowd around 100 people.
