AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Papai Saha’s death anniversary was observed by Tripura BJP and Congress in their respective parties offices.

Papai Saha was just common men who was shutting down his shop during a major clash occurred in Agartala.

Papai was allegedly shot dead on July 11 by, 2012 by an unidentified TSR Jawan when police and Congress workers got engaged in a pitched battle during a protest rally of the opposition party in Agartala on July 11 and police had to open fire.

However, based on forensic report, the police had arrested another youth of the locality for the killing.

The issue got complicated with the allegation against the TSR by the victim’s family.
