AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, fire broke out at three shops on Wednesday morning located in the Bankar Market of Belonia.
Three shops were gutted in a fire which broke out in the market area here in the wee hours today, said sources.
The fire broke out in one of the shops in the morning due to short circuit and spread to the nearby two establishments, they said.
Fire-fighters doused the fire and bought the fire under control.
It has been mentioned that the owner has been affected with loss of around Rs. 7 lakh.
According to the reports, the fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire. It is believed that the fire have started from a short circuit.
However, the incident has left worry among the locals of the area. So far no injury has been reported of any person. Police is further investigating the case.
