AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): The body of a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan Ayon Paul of 36 Bn BSF, from BOP Dumnikura arrived in the state here on wednesday.

But the cause of the death is still unknown. It is to be mentioned here that two bullets were found from the body of Ayon Paul.

On the other hand BSF personnel are telling it as suicide. But father of Ayon Paul namely Kajol Paul said that his son has been murdered and urged the BSF authorities to investigate the case.

It is to be mentioned here that Ayon Paul (22) of 36 Bn BSF was found dead at Tura in Meghalaya on March 29 last and two bullets were found from his body.

The BSF convoy carrying the mortal remains of a jawan came under attack when they narrowed escape an IED attack laid by militants while the convoy was travelling on the National Highway-51 in West Garo Hills district. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the BSF convoy was attack near Kherapara, 25 km from Tura, the district headquarters of West Garo hills, BSF said. The convoy was carrying the mortal remains of constable Ayon Paul of 36 Bn BSF, from BOP Dumnikura. The convoy consisted of three vehicles, one Tata 407 truck, one Maruti Gypsy and a Bolero.
