AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Suman Debnath, a resident of Bagafa, Santir Bazar received massive success in his crop production. Debnath who cultivated potatoes, could produce over 120 sacks of potatoes. The farmer went through a hard time as the Agriculture Department did not extend any support but his hard work did not go in vain and heavy crop production has finally rewarded his hard work and dedication.
Suman Debnath has been involved in agriculture for a decade on over 3 acres of land.
In the contrary, the farmers who received government support, their production was lower than him.
“If I had received support from the government, then I would have received more success,” the farmer told Tripura InfoWay correspondent.
He further requested the state government to help in the next financial years so that his productions continue to help his livelihood.
